Hey, I'm
Penny!

I hope that this website inspires and encourages you in your exploration of mindfulness. Since 2010 mindfulness has been at the heart of all my work. The inspiration for this comes from my own practice and the experience of my clients as well as from current scientific research in mindfulness and neuroscience. Today it is widely acknowledged that practising mindfulness has an important part to play in supporting our mental health.

Based in Wareham, Dorset, I offer a range of resources that enable people to both develop and sustain a mindfulness practice. I am particularly passionate about offering a wide range of ways in which people can access the material to suit their lifestyle – there is no one that way suits all.

In 2008 I came across mindfulness and knew that I had found something special. Mindfulness came my way as my four children became teenagers and I valued and benefited from the stability, the wisdom and the skills that mindfulness encourages.

In 2009 when I trained as a mindfulness instructor at Bangor University there were few books on the subject and I always needed to explain what it was to those who asked. Today mindfulness is flourishing; there are numerous books about it and mindfulness is used in many situations throughout society and to people of all ages.

The present is the only time that any of us have to be alive – to know anything – to perceive – to learn – to act - to change – to heal.
